Over the years, I have become more and more sober about my birthday. I don't tend to make much noise about my birthday. Not that I don't recognize or appreciate the day that I was born, but I have learned that it is an opportunity to examine my life - where have I been, where am I and where am I going? Every year my birthday is a time of reflection, remembrance, reckoning and restrategizing. This year as I reflect, I have realized how much the Lord has truly made me to rejoice. The verse of scripture above is very relevant. In various aspects of my life there's been promotion, addition and glorification. To God be the glory indeed great things He has done! My Weekly Inspirations - 8

Message: “ And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.” 2 Corinthians‬ ‭12‬:‭9‬ ‭KJV‬‬ This week began with a new chapter of my career. This chapter required some adjustments to my usual schedule. Thinking about it, it seemed overwhelming! Planning meals ahead, packing lunch, waking up much earlier than usual, dropping off kids at childcare, picking up kids after work etc. From the very beginning of the week the Lord assured me that His grace is sufficient for me. I held on to His word. I can testify that truly His grace is more than sufficient for me - His grace strengthened me to accomplish the necessities. His grace continues to gives me strength to fulfill the responsibilities that He has given me. Lord, help me to depend on your sufficient grace always. I cannot thank Him enough. Thank you Jesus! Message: Concluded orientation on day shift, heading back to night shift! “And he was withdrawn from them about a stone's cast, and kneeled down, and prayed, saying, Father, if thou be willing, remove this cup from me: nevertheless not my will, but thine, be done.” Luke‬ ‭22‬:‭41‬-‭42‬ ‭KJV ‬‬ Recently I have realized how difficult it can be to do the will of God through a particular personal experience. We often pray for the will of God but when the Lord gives us the opportunity to do it, it becomes a challenge. This is because the will of God is divine - it cannot be accomplished with human logic, it requires a spiritual transformation and renewal of mind with the word of God on a daily basis. But we are not alone. The Lord reminded me of Christ in the verses above - it was the will of God for Him to die on the cross but at some point He acknowledged His own difficulty with the task which He confidently confessed but since He desired God's perfect will; He submitted to God&#
