Jesus Christ: The All Sufficient One

"And as it is appointed for men to die once, but after this the judgment,"-Heb 9:27.

We live in a world where things that were once abominable have become acceptable. People have become extremely desensitized to wickedness and evil ways of life that lead to destruction on earth, and damnation in the world beyond. Some of you believe and proclaim that this "Jesus thing", or this "religious thing" is not for you. But I want to let you know that there is nothing more REAL than the word of God - the Bible. You have not known enjoyment of life, and peace of mind until you know JESUS!

You must understand that you are on a journey here on Earth. Nobody will live on the earth forever. Tomorrow is not guaranteed for anyone - in fact the very next hour is not guaranteed for anyone. You must also understand that beyond earth is another world. There are two destinations - heaven, or hell. I know some of you don't want to hear that, and are actually afraid. But there is nothing to be afraid of. The bible says in 2 Timothy 1:7 "For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind." When you surrender your life to Jesus Christ He takes the fear of even the mention of "hell fire" from your life and replaces it with peace and assurance of spending forever with Him.

I challenge you today, stop running after one night club to the next, one wild party to the next, one sexual partner to the next, one cigarette to the next, one glass of alcohol to the next, one porn website to the next, and turn to Jesus Christ! Let me ask you this: does any of the aforementioned things bring any goodness at all to your life? How long does the pleasure last? 30 minutes? 1hr? Can I challenge you to trade that in with everlasting JOY that only comes through Jesus Christ alone? There's a huge hole in your life and drugs and alcohol, parties, boyfriends and girlfriends will not satisfy except Jesus Christ Alone! Believe me because I speak from experience! You are craving for a love, attention, and acceptance from people and things but you are not getting it, why? Because you have yet to turn to the ONE whom the most authentic of all LOVE, PEACE, and JOY freely flows - Jesus Christ the Son of God!

As someone said and I concur "a life without Jesus is full of wars (inner wars - no peace of mind), worries (that someone is after you), and problems (baby mama drama, sexually transmitted diseases from premarital affairs, being at the wrong place at the wrong time - running into the hands of cops, etc) BUT Jesus is the Prince of Peace He will send His everlasting peace into your heart and your life completely and totally!" [emphasis added] Give Jesus a chance today will you? "That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation."-Romans 10:9,10 No matter how terrible of a sinner you are, how horrible the things you've done Jesus can undo it all and give you a new life with a fresh start! How many of us don't like a fresh start? When people look at you with hatred and disgust because of the terrible things you've done, Jesus looks at you with LOVE and wipes all your bad deeds away by the cleansing power in His blood that shed on the Cross on which He died for you! "...I have loved thee with an everlasting love: therefore with lovingkindness have I drawn thee."-Jeremiah 31:3 What a precious Savior, God, and TRUE friend!

Who do you choose? Jesus or the pleasures of the world that only lasts but for a moment? I pray you are blessed by this, and may you be moved to brokenness and be led to feet of the cross of Jesus for totally freedom from sin! Fashions come and go, people come and go but Jesus Christ is the same today, yesterday, and forever - best believe I have a SURE FOUNDATION and I will not be moved in Jesus' name.
