My Weekly Inspirations -19

Message
"And the LORD, he it is that doth go before thee; he will be with thee, he will not fail thee, neither forsake thee: fear not, neither be dismayed." Deuteronomy‬ ‭31‬:‭8‬ ‭KJV‬‬

On a daily basis, I look forward to the word God would give me. Besides my Bible reading, I have a few apps on my phone that gives me verses of the day. I greatly look forward to these verses of the day because they truly bless me. This week I received the verse above on a particular day, I read it and briefly meditated on it.

At midday on that day, an event occurred that became an avenue for fear. As I thought about what was happening, I was suddenly reminded of this verse! I instantly gained peace and confidence in that moment knowing that God had prepared me with His Word ahead of time. His Word is powerful, truthful and dependable.

Indeed, the day ended in peace full of productivity, strength and favor. Many times the Word of God predicts the events of my day. This is one of many experiences that I have had. I want to encourage you to prioritize God's Word on a daily basis - read, meditate and pray God's Word into your life, allow God's Word to guide your daily affairs. You will never be the same!

Modesty:
When it comes to my modest closet, I prefer my tops to be at my collar bone at a minimum. This ensures that I am not exposed. Over the years, this practice has proven to be very helpful.
Are you a modest lady? Do you have frustrations with how to style cute, but low cut tops and blazers? Well, I have some tips for you! In this video, I share some practical modesty tips to assist with your low cut tops and blazers in your Modest Closet. I pray that it inspires you!

Marriage

This portion of this week's 4M's was written by my beloved husband: "In the pursuit of a lifelong journey, choosing a godly woman as a life partner is akin to embarking on a sacred quest. The essence of such a union transcends the ordinary, as it delves into the realms of shared values, spiritual connection, and enduring commitment.

A godly woman, adorned with virtues that echo a moral compass, becomes the cornerstone of a harmonious marriage. Her integrity, compassion, and kindness lay the foundation for a relationship built on the pillars of trust and mutual respect. In the tapestry of life, a godly woman's unwavering faith serves as a guiding light, illuminating the path through both sunshine and storm.

Staying married to such a woman requires a commitment that goes beyond the temporal nature of worldly bonds. It necessitates a deep understanding of the sacred vows exchanged, a promise to weather the storms together, and a willingness to grow as individuals while nurturing the unity of the partnership. The longevity of the union lies in the ability to adapt, evolve, and foster an environment of love and understanding. The divine connection shared with a godly woman extends beyond the mundane facets of daily life.

Marrying a godly woman is an invitation to a sacred dance of hearts and souls. To stay married to her requires a dedication that extends beyond the ephemeral nature of worldly unions. It is a commitment to a love that transcends, a bond that endures, and a journey that unfolds in the divine tapestry of life. Thank you Lord, for giving me a godly woman as a wife!"

Motherhood: one of the things that I have been learning and practicing is being present with my children. There are so many things that may distract me, but I am striving to be intentional about seeing, hearing, and touching my children. Presence means that not only am I physically there but that I am also emotionally, and spiritually available for them. Being present enables me to see my children on a deeper level; I am able to hear their needs even if not spoken, perceive their fears and inadequacies, play with and embrace them in loving arms.

Admittedly, my phone can be such a distraction and a thief of special moments with my kids. There are times I just abandon my phone to be present with my children. Since being more practical with my intentionality of presence, I have seen that it is appreciated by my children. Even at these tenders stages they express their gratitude in ways that are truly priceless. I am praying for the grace to be more present especially as they are growing. So Lord, help me!

I hope that you're inspired by the 4 M's this week!
